SolidWorks Refresher
aSSIGNMENT 1
We brush up on SolidWorks for the 1st week and a half so that students regain their confidence in what they learned in the Foundations class. Strict hand-in dates are applied here so that we can get started on our major projects as soon as possible.
Course Description:
Engineering Concepts is the second course in the Engineering and Technology Pathway. Students will learn to design technical solutions to engineering problems using a whole systems approach to engineering design. Students will demonstrate the application of mathematical tools, teamwork, and communications skills in solving various design challenges, while maintaining a safe work environment. The prerequisite for this course is Foundations of Engineering and Technology.
All engineering classes are project based. We use the engineering design process as a map for completion of each project we do. All assignments completed by the students are handed in to Schoology. Parents can access all of their student's assignments by logging in to Schoology as a parent. They will be given that login at the beginning of the semester.
Our engineering focus at BHS is 3D CAD Design, F1 in Schools, Vex Robotics and 3D Printing.
